Bioshock 2

This is just based on like the first hour of the single player, so by no means is this a complete review.

I have a hacked, banned 360 I play games on sometimes, and so I obtained Bioshock 2 and threw that sucker in. It's pretty good and fun to play as a Big Daddy but a lot of suspense is lost in the fact that you've already been around Rapture and you're one of the most powerful things in the game. Splicers don't really startle you like they do in the beginning of the first one.

Underwater parts are pretty lame. They're just you walking around in slow motion basically. Hacking is ridiculously easy now. There's a meter that comes up and you just have to make it so that a needle lands in a green or blue part of the meter. The story seems a bit interesting though and the first couple of weapons you get are neat.

So far I give it an 8/10 just based on the first hour, but according to reviews from big sites, there are amazing parts, so I'm sure it's better than my short time with it suggests.

Hacking literally couldn't get any worse from the first one, so the fact that it changed is good. Sorta wish they did something similar to what Mass Effect 2 did but... oh well. Can't wait to grab this for mah pc.

Nerdgasm. Oh and the multiplayer isn't that bad either. Really easy to own people, but maybe thats just cause i adapt quickly. IDK.

Multiplayer isn't super deep, and it's blatantly tacked on, but it's still fun. It's pretty much what it's advertised as, Bioshock multiplayer. Standard Unreal Engine multiplayer action with guns and powers.

After finishing bioshock 2, I felt that the story wasn't anywhere close to the original. However, I had a lot more fun with the actual game play. The weapons and powers felt better, and hell, the drill charge alone is cooler and more fun than anything in the original. It's also cool that creating traps and things is actually worth while, especially on hard. I do sorta wish that the lvl 3 fire/ice/lightning plasmids were different.

starting to hate multiplayer. It's pretty imbalanced (grenade launcher is godly. Especially since hit detection is horrible), laggy as shit because of P2P lobby system instead of dedicated servers. One game I went like 6 and 22 because of lag (and my teammates sucked! and the map!), then I unlocked the nade launcher and went 25 and 6. You just wait for people to come, shoot a nade, hide behind a corner, shoot a nade, hide, and shoot again and they're dead. It's like I'm Demoman in Bioshock 2.

Haven't gone through single player yet. Still trying out multi. It's fun when it's smooth.

Its non edited gameplay. Pretty much a full round, so you pretty much see what its about, what to expect etc.

After a while you realize you can get better weapons than the nade launcher.  I usually use the machine gun with an extended clip or the nail gun, and sometimes the crossbow.  Like to go houdini and wrench the guy from behind.  Also pretty fun to set electric whirl traps and pretend rocket jump with the whirly things.  Electric bolt is pretty much a necessity because you can get insta kills by shocking waterfalls or pools.

There are 2 fixs for in game lag if you all don't know.
1. when game starts to load level...alt-tab out & back in...helps alot

2. run a search on your hd for quickmatch(search for words in file).....it is a large file, usually in docs & settings somewhere. Scroll down near the bottom...there is a line that is
   mQuickmatchSearchMaxPing=300
change 300 to 100   
will help alot also
