THIS POST HAS BEEN HIJACKED BY THE FUNK!!
RULES

Ok guys, iv just done some uploading, (since ducky seems to have stopped)

So if im going to do this effectively, I don’t want to see single links to fpsb with no description.

IF you want a map put on the server, you need to use this set layout

Layout
"mapname"
Good points of map/reason for request/description/update info. Bullet point
Map URL

example
ctf_timbertown
*looks like a really good layout for a ctf
* Well detailed (sawmill tf2 style)
http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/98106

I am putting this down because it takes quite a while (especially with fpsb being as slow as it is) to go through and look through pages of maps. Hell I go on fpsb, and if I uploaded every map I saw that looked good, we would have 1000s of maps.

Please follow this procedure. Also feel free to write any further information on the map in your post.

Basically I just don’t want posts with a load of links in it

Good hutting Cheesy

p.s. if you can use other site then fpsb it would be good (due to its instability, and other sites can make it far quicker to upload)

P.S.S these rules are aimed at TF2 MAPS!, for NS map requests please post in the NS section

http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/65823 - pl_cranetop_b3

This map is a big map so its great with a full server. No class is over powered in this map its fairly even and takes on a different concept of pl with a bunch of obsticles. Also its a awesome looking map and a remake of cranetop from TFC.

http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/66532 - ctf_backwards_b1

This map reminds me of a larger 2fort so its very even, but what i like the most about this map is its looks and that is a backwards ctf i guess is what the mapper calls it heres his decription: "1) you get the enemy flag at your base (not in spawn, but near spawn)
2) Take the enemy flag to the enemy base and score a point (capture area is the same as the place you picked up the flag, only in the enemy's base)".

http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/66982 - cp_beamvalley_v2

This map is similar to a dustbowl style of play with 3 stages. So it mixes things up by switching stages, oh and i like the deadly cart on the first stage.

Its truly an outstanding map to add to our "rats" collection. I played it on the Dr. Him's Laboratory server with about 10 other people, it was so much fun. It will be even better with more people and a server like this that is always full its definitely worth the try. The design and pretty much everything about it is just amazing, lol. It is a rat type map because everything is scaled much larger and etc... A lot of the objects can be interacted with like the Wii Remote, the skateboard, the alphabet blocks, you name it, lol.  The map takes place in two suburban homes overlooking a city in the background, one of which is for the red team and the other is for the blue team along with an open street, and the object is for either team to capture all of the points. Only thing that can probably be annoying is the snipers on the street, but there is plenty of cones for cover. I think its a great map. The screenshots are above, but to get better pics, click on the screenshots! Smiley

ds_extractum - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/68642

This is a new mod type of map called dragon slayer mod its sort of like a payload style but instean you have a dragon. You must protect your own dragon while trying to kill the other teams dragon. Seems interesting and it looks sort of like a dust style as seen in dustbowl.

ds_mysticruins - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/68644

Again same style dragon slayer mod but i forgot to mention the dragon has a sentry in it so it can also kill you and this one is alpine style map.

pc_sawmill_b4 - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/68588

Payload cp map you must cap three points a b and c to unlock a bridge which will then come down to get to d. Great looking map and i know the server loves pl maps.

ds_orangecomplex - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/69258

Another Dragon Slayer Map im not sure how everyone else feels about these maps but i think they are fun this one is orange textured and symetrical.

ds_vulcanpit_b1 - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/69158

Another Dragon Slayer map with a desert/volcano/mine theme and the sides are symmetrical.

pl_bugscanyon-final - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/68873

Just a great pl map that I have played and is great for a full server.

cp_boulder_v4 - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/71529

Like cp_dustbowl? This map has the same concept of 3 stages and is made by the same map maker of mof. Very enjoyable map that looks great at the same time.

 htf_resortrivalry_b3 - http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/71286

new concept map where htf stands for Hold The Flag. Which ever team holds the flag for the amount of the timer without dropping it gets a point. Havent played this map yet but looks great and got a 10/10 of FPSBANANA

cp_smbcastle2 http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/42829

Not sure what happened to the first version but anyway this map is highly simple! I highly recommend adding it to our server because of its simplicity, I've always played this map on other servers and I'm suprised I haven't seen it on our's yet. Its really one of a kind. There are three control points, two outside and one inside. To get the first one, the players on the blue team must use the catapult to go to the other side of the castle because the doors are locked, upon catching the first control point, the doors open and then the second point can be captured inside the upper level of the left tower of the castle, once that point is captured the players on the blue team proceed inside and stand on the final point, which ends the game, so its fairly simple and quite fun! The soldiers and demos tend to excel fairly well, the pyros are also great for ambushing the blue team who may be rushing to get to the points. Smiley. Here is the description taken from FPS Banana:

Single round dustbowl style CP with 3 CP's set in a castle movie set in 1940's hollywood. At the beginning, the offense has 2 paths into the castle. The first is some unrestored damage to the castle on the left side (if you're facing the castle). The second way in by way of catapult. 2 are positioned to launch the players deep into the castle (some classes can get to the top of the turrets).

The first CP is on the top floor of the left turret (the taller turret).

The second CP is just to the right of the drawbridge (the drawbridge control
room). Capturing this CP will cause the drawbridge to come crashing down.

The third CP is deep in the mountain the castle is built into.

And for your 60 seconds of setup wait time entertainment, there are a few posters around the movie lot for you to peruse.
