After haveing a sorta drunken brawl on the server on ym birthday, i really felt the need to play some of the ultra old school classic custom maps. i remmberd a few of them, but i know thers more. was wonderign if yuo guys could think of any, since there in my maps folder sumwhere amongst the 1000s of others

no your missing the point, im talking OLD MAPS, like way before any of the custom stuff came out such as the new game modes and achivments.

there was something like cp_hollywood or cp_backlot.. can't remember the actual name, but it was like a series of hollywood movie sets, it looked cool and it wasn't a bad cp map.

na, the originality Yarrr is the sorta thing im thinking ov. all your other suggestion are way too new, such as the movie sets. im talking OLD MAPS. this means that if you started playing tf2 in the last year or so, then you don't know the maps im talking about

I played the movie sets dev map shortly after beta, so i wouldn't consider that too new..

cp_labor is acutally pretty old.

And yeah, cp_arena_v6 was a daily staple.

There was one with a rocket inside a mountain. I thought it was called 'silo' or something, but could never find it again. Anyone know which one this was? You could go up to the top of the mountain and drop down through a hole in the ceiling onto the rocket (a newer map also has this feature, with slowly opening doors covering it).

Rocketball was more recent, but played incessantly.
